Can’t tell you how happy we were to have found Mike and Goodtimes Gunite pools. We have been dealing with our pool leaking for a long time, paying out money to people and never getting the job done. We had just about given up but lucked into meeting Mike. Mike was great. So nice, polite, and so honest with you.

He came out, detected our problems and sent us an estimate. Very reasonable I might add. Everything went so smoothly. His workers were so good. They were very organized. Two of his workers had been with him 13 years. That says a lot. They fixed our problem in a very short period of time. Left everything clean. We highly recommend this company. I can not say enough about our incredible experience with Goodtimes Gunite Pools. Before reaching out we met with multiple fiberglass and gunite companies. Michael was referred to us by a family member who had recently used Goodtimes and was very happy with their work. At the beginning we were quoted a very fair price that was not bare bones. Many extras were included that would be upsells from other companies. And when they say complete customization, they mean it. Michael will walk around the yard and draw it with you to exactly where you want it. We walked around the pool and we pointed where we wanted umbrella holders, “No problem”. Decided we wanted decorative cut outs for rocks in the walkway, “No problem”. Decided we wanted cut outs for plants around the pool, “No problem”. Expand the sitting area this way here, and this way there, “No problem”. No extra charge for any of it. There are many choices with the base for plaster and coping, and again, no additional charge. There were times i tried to buy things that would be an additional fee and was told options that were similar that would not cost additional. I have never had someone talk me out of upsells before. The company stands by their work. Michael, the owner, was onsite every step of the process and has been instrumental in training us to properly take care of our pool. Always available to answer any questions, even after completion. He even just yesterday gave us additional advice on grass seed to use to finish off our back yard. I could not recommend a company more than I recommend Goodtimes Gunite Pools.

Wondering if you should go with GTG Pools? Short answer….yes! I did a ton of research on vinyl, fiberglass, gunite and finally decided I wanted the customizability of gunite. Got multiple quotes and decided to go with GTG. Michael provided me with referrals and I spoke to everyone on the phone. They all had glowing reports. The entire process was marked by great communication. I never felt “abandoned” by Michael. He always let me know what was happening and where we were in the process. Michael also “got my vision” and came up with some creative suggestions. We wanted our pool to have the look and feel of a hill country, spring-fed pool. Michael suggested some landscaping ideas that turned out perfectly. Did I mention that his crew worked almost non stop for two days digging our pool out of solid limestone?! They were tireless. Michael is also budget conscious and won’t break your bank. Don’t hesitate to work with Michael. He’s a gem, and is still responsive when I send him my water test results, asking what I need to add to my water!
